About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Transverso Journal will publish original works in the form of Articles, Essays, Interviews and Reviews originally published in other languages and translated into Portuguese or Spanish (with the necessary authorizations), which include themes related to Analysis and Design Criticism, based on its transdisciplinary links with the disciplines: architecture, visual arts, material and immaterial culture, maintaining, however, the intention of privileging works that present transdisciplinary links with letters, the arts, the human and social sciences.

 

Peer Review Process

The journal performs the peer review process.

We currently have doctoral professors on the Editorial Board, organized in thematic areas according to those covered by the magazine, which are responsible for the evaluation of the texts.

Frequency

The Transverso Journal is biannual.

Open Access Policy

This magazine offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public provides greater worldwide democratization of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This Journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a file system distributed among participating libraries and allows them to create permanent magazine files for preservation and restoration.
