O Letramento em Saúde dos estudantes de Enfermagem em uma Universidade Federal da Amazônia Ocidental.

Introdução: O Letramento em Saúde mostra-se cada vez mais importante no processo de educação na saúde, uma vez que promove autonomia nos comportamentos e decisões que os indivíduos demostram na promoção da saúde no seu cotidiano.
Objetivo: Analisar o nível de letramento em saúde de estudantes do curso de Enfermagem da Fundação Universidade Federal de Rondônia (UNIR).
Métodos: Trata-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa, descritiva e de corte transversal, no período de outubro de 2023 a janeiro de 2024, em que se utilizou amostragem não probabilística para seleção da população estudada. A variável de desfecho e múltiplas variáveis preditoras foram modeladas por meio de análise regressiva.
Resultados: Os resultados evidenciaram que 42,5% dos alunos estão abaixo da média dos 52 pontos do letramento em saúde, sugerindo que há uma defasagem de aprendizado do que esperávamos dos alunos de Enfermagem. Esses achados podem dar pistas aos docentes que essa temática deve estar nos componentes curriculares desde os primeiros períodos, para preparar competentemente os estudantes para a prática de cuidados de enfermagem em cenários clínicos.
Conclusão: É mister a importância de ações de aprimoramento da matriz curricular do curso, atendendo a necessidade dos alunos em assuntos ligados a saúde coletiva, como o Letramento em Saúde, ressaltando a complexidade da temática.
