Abstract

The work Heidegger: el fracaso del ser (2024), by Arturo Leyte, articulates M. Heidegger's philosophical trajectory on the basis of the diagnosis of the failure of the question of Being. This review surveys the conceptual architecture of the German philosopher, from fundamental ontology to the late turn. Leyte's (2024) expository clarity is commended, yet the work is recommended for readers already immersed in the original texts rather than as an introduction. It is further questioned whether privileging the notion of "failure" might obscure other orientations within Heidegger's vast philosophical corpus.
