Abstract

The Geraes typography has as its main influence the colonial in Minas Gerais. It is important to note that the name Geraes with “e” comes from the spelling of the time. It makes references to documents and inscriptions of that time in addition to having an irregular outline inspired by the carved wood of furniture and buildings and hammered hardware. Suitable to be used in texts or titles about antiques, farm items or made by hand.
