Author Biography

Luiz Henrique Ozanan, Escola de Design - UEMG

PhD in History at the Federal University of Minas Gerais - UFMG (2013); Master of Education  (2005); graduated in History -  (1994). He is Research Coordinator at the School of Design at the State University of Minas Gerais - UEMG. Currently a professor of History and critical analysis of art for the Visual Arts course - Degree and professor of History of Design from the 19th to the 21st centuries at the School of Design at UEMG. He has research experience working mainly on the following themes: design, Belo Horizonte city, jewelry-amulets, slavery, African culture, cultural history, material culture, history of Minas Gerais and history of design. Leader of the research groups History of Technique, History of Design and Historical Studies.
