Great Hera! The heroes have arrived in the classroom: a systematic literature review.

The study aimed to investigate the use of superheroes in pedagogical practices across different levels of education through a systematic literature review. The research encompassed databases in both Portuguese and English, resulting in the selection of eight works for quantitative and qualitative analysis. The findings indicate that superhero practices are more common in High School and Higher Education, particularly in the field of Physics, with proposals also present in Biology and Sociology. The majority of publications are concentrated in the last decade, primarily in the United States and the Netherlands. The conclusion highlights that the use of superheroes in pedagogical practices represents a promising opportunity for meaningful learning, although it is still in its early stages.
