ANÁLISE DA MOBILIZAÇÃO DE PROTEÍNAS E AMINOÁCIDOS DURANTE O DESENVOLVIMENTO EMBRIONÁRIO DO INSETO Callosobruchus maculatus
Resumo
O inseto Callosobruchus maculatus é a principal praga de grãos armazenados de Vigna unguiculata e, portanto, o estudo de seu ciclo de vida é importante não apenas para uma investigação básica, mas também para o desenvolvimento de novo métodos de controle. No presente trabalho nós investigamos a mobilização de proteínas e aminoácidos durante o desenvolvimento embrionário de Callosobruchus maculatus. Foram caracterizados importantes eventos morfológicos do desenvolvimento embrionário, como a extensão e retração da banda germinal e fechamento dorsal. Através de estratégias qualitativas e quantitativas foi demostrada a degradação de proteínas durante todo o desenvolvimento embrionário. Também foi demonstrada a variação de diferentes aminoácidos durante o desenvolvimento do embrião. Atividades proteolíticas em pH 3,4, 5,0 e 8,0, características das proteases aspárticas, cisteínicas e serínicas, respectivamente, variaram consideravelmente a embriogênese. Tomados em conjunto os resultados deste trabalho demonstram a importância do metabolismo de proteínas durante o metabolismo do inseto Callosobruchus maculatus.
