About the Journal

Transverso - electronic journal of the Design and Culture Center of the School of Design of UEMG, publishes unpublished works related to architecture, visual arts, material and immaterial culture and design, whenever possible, addressing transdisciplinary links with letters and the human and social sciences . The journal created in 2010 by professor Mário Santiago de Oliveira, started to count, as of 2018, with a new team to resume its activities and regularity in publications. In 2020 the number 8 will be launched from a call made in 2019 and replicated in 2020.

The editorial team will receive contributions for the next issue of the journal until December 12, 2020.

A Revista Transverso: diálogos entre Design, Cultura e Sociedade (ED-UEMG) informa à comunidade acadêmica o andamento das edições 19 e 20 (2026). Atualmente, a edição 19 encontra-se em fase de processamento, reunindo artigos desenvolvidos em parceria com o X Simpósio de Design Sustentável (X SDS 2025), enquanto a edição 20 já inicia seu processo editorial com trabalhos submetidos diretamente pelo sistema da revista. Agradecemos aos(às) autores(as) pelas contribuições e reafirmamos nosso compromisso com a qualidade, a regularidade e a continuidade das publicações.
