Author Biography

Rangel Cerceau Netto, Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais - UEMG

Professor at the University of the State of Minas Gerais (UEMG) and at the University Center of Belo Horizonte - Unibh, an institution in which he has a degree (2002). Ph.D. (2013) and Master (2006) in Social History of Culture by the Federal University of Minas Gerais. At the same institution, he has a specialization in History of Culture and Art (2004). Invited researcher at the Federal University of Vales do Jequitinhonha and Mucuri from 2005 to 2007. Member of the Deliberative Council of the Education, Arts and Culture Foundation - FUNDAC. Associate Researcher at the Center for Studies on the African Presence in the Modern World - CEPAMM / UFMG 2009 to 2013. Member of the research group on African Studies and Black Atlantic History - UFMG. The editor is responsible for the e-hum magazine - Scientific Journal of the Humanities Areas of Unibh. Founder and Chief Editor of the electronic magazine Linguagens nas Artes - Periodical linked to the Guignard School of UEMG. Has experience in the area of ​​Fine Arts and History, with an emphasis on Research Methodology, American colonial art; Iconography and Iconology; Historiography, History of Colony and Empire Brazil, Regional History, History of Colonial America, and Cultural Heritage Preservation policy.
