Abstract

This article aims to present the trajectory, experiences and experiences arising from the extension project “Weaving knowledge and growing food – Geography in the construction of educational processes and sustainable territories”. This project has the objective to promotion of dialogues and practices that promote experiences with SocioEnvironmental Geography and its interface with Agroecology, in order to enable, above all, reflections on the capitalist agricultural production model and its consequences for the human beings and the environment, as well as to elucidate the necessary and urgent transformation process aiming at sustainable societies. The project has been developed with training activities for scholarship students, volunteers, materials development that dialogue with the central themes and practices in public schools. Therefore, the project has contributed, in addition to the pedagogical, conceptual and practical training of students, but also in the relationship and approximation with the school space, essential for teaching
