Self-assessment of general health in basic education teachers

Abstract

The present study aimed to identify the predictive power of sociodemographic, work and working conditions variables in the pandemic/Covid 19 for the self-assessment of general health in155  teachers.  We used a questionnaire of sociodemographic, labor data and questions related to working conditions in the pandemic/Covid 19 period, the Quality of Work Life Assessment Scale and the single item for the assessment of the Self-assessment of general health. The results revealed an explanatory model for The self-assessment of general health composed of the variables with the highest indexes of the dimensions of quality of life at work Possibilities for leisure and social interaction and Integration, respect and autonomy, time of work, perception of having had adequate conditions to teach classes, not being from the risk group for Covid and decreases with the extra time to prepare classes.
